| History In the early 1990’s, the WMC made a change in order to effectively address the needs and issues of the “total” person. We knew in order to make this change, the WMC had to readjust our mode of operations to become a “hands on” endeavor.

Our Committees All initiatives are spearheaded through the various committees.
The WMC currently consists of 9 committees: Clergy Committee, Workforce Development, Housing Health, Economic Development, Human Services, Education, Youth Guidance, and the Council of Elders

| Computer Centers Networking for Democracy—undertook the monumental task of being the technical advisor for the various computer centers that WMC sponsors. They also supplied instructors needed, Computer Repair, upgrades and Web Page Design. Contact Us

Collaborators Collaborations: The following are among the many collaborations that we are building,: Austin High School—Ms Baker, Principal of Austin joined WMC in reducing the drop-out rate of the students at Austin High. Targeting the freshman class of 2001, we initiated classes that would help ensure that these freshmen would graduate in 2005. Mr. Michael Scott– President of CPS and Mr. Arnie Duncan—CEO of CPS each supported the Youth initiatives that the WMC sponsored in 2002.Contact Us
